Day 10

Today was a off day and sleep slightly longer than usual. Decide to check out the china ancient street. Walk around 1km to the nearest MRT station. 1st time there and use the ticket machine. It cost around 4 rmb . After that the machine spit a green token out which is actually the ticket use to tap in to enter. In the MRT there are plently of seats, compared to Singapore , sg mrt is forever full and its hard to find seats on the weekend.How can china have so much population and have quite empty mrt!! Quite shock . 20 mins later we drop off. To exit , we are to throw the token inside a slot hole like putting money into vending machine. Went to the china ancient streets which looks like singapore china town. Classic red lantern and old buildings. Items are quite cheap over there. Buy the caramel kiwi and orange in a satay stick and taste very nice. Combination of sweet and sour is quite good. Wanted to buy some more but we din walk back to there any more. Walk around and eat some of the traditional bao over there. 7 bao are RMB 20 only . Which is quite cheap becasue singapore currency is big. The skin of bao is not like singapore alot of flour , is those thin skin to wrap soup inside. Best of all is we meet other singapore students there at the restaurant also.Quite lucky to see our country people in china. There got alot big 8 lane cross traffic junction. Super dangerous to cross it, all you need to do is to follow behind a local after awhile i learn how to cross already. Its pretty scary when the car keep horning. Walk for quite long to another shopping center. On the way we pass by a bridge, and its freezing cold and china guys are swimming in the dirty river. Any way , its normal because there a sign daring brave people to swim . After wards we saw a ferris wheel, look very near but its actually very very far . Around 1hr of walking there. We walk along the river there and there got small games . Like those in singapore pasar malam have , those use gun or dart shoot ballon than can receive a toy sort of game. We played a can drink games which is like stack up metal can. Using a basket ball throw , if all 10 is knock now we can earn 100 rmb . Took the eye of tian jing which is ferris wheel. Around 10 SGD compared to singapore flyer the price is cheaper by alottt !!!
We can see the city on the highest ground and quite fun any way. 30 mins ride and we took a taxi back home. On the way down a tunnel , theres a massive jam and 2 guy fighting in front blocking the whole traffic. The car behind all did a 180 degree reverse and travel back wards. 1st time in my life , its damn cool. Theres a girl driver that don't know how to turn 180 degree and our taxi driver scream at her for blocking his way. Its quite funny there. Massive traffic jam, taxi drop us outside mrt and we took a mrt back instead anddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
